Bridge EU is seeking an experienced freelance EU Grants Consultant to support the development, coordination, and management of our EU-funded projects.

Bridge EU is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to building inclusive, rights-based policies that respond to the shared challenges faced by marginalised communities, including persons with disabilities, migrants, and Roma populations.

Key responsibilities
Lead the drafting and editing of high-quality EU grant proposals (e.g., CERV, AMIF, Erasmus+, JUST, ESF+, Horizon), ensuring alignment with call objectives, logical structure, and persuasive narrative.
Support the coordination the full proposal development process, including timeline management, partner engagement, internal reviews, and final submission.
Assist in project implementation and reporting, including:
Drafting and consolidating narrative progress and final reports
Supporting financial reporting (eligibility checks, timesheet validation, cost justification documentation)
Collecting and harmonising partner contributions/
Provide guidance on EU financial rules and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
What profile we’re looking for
You’re a proactive, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in EU project funding and a commitment to social justice.
Specifically, you have have:
Proven success in drafting and submitting winning EU grant applications, preferably under CERV, AMIF, Erasmus+, or similar programmes.
In-depth knowledge of EU funding frameworks, eligibility criteria, and financial regulations, narrative and financial reporting requirements (e.g., Horizon, CERV, ESF+, ERASMUS+).
Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent writing, editing, and synthesising skills.
Strong project coordination abilities, especially in multi-partner, cross-border consortia.
A commitment to human rights, inclusion, equality, and non-discrimination.
The ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
Registered as a freelancer/self-employed professional (or equivalent legal entity) in an EU member state able to invoice for services, in line with EU grant financial requirements.
What we offer
This is a freelance consultancy position, maximum 15 days per month. The number of days per month will depend the workload, which may vary.
The daily rate of 150 EUR.
1 year contract, with possibility for extensions.
Flexible and remote position.
Potential for long-term cooperation.
Estimated start date: as soon as possible.
